About Freeda

We tell the stories of a generation that refuses to be defined.

Our story

Freeda was founded in Milano in 2017 by Andrea Scotti Calderini and Gianluigi Casole with a simple idea: build a media company for the women the legacy press kept ignoring.

What started as a social-first publication became something larger — a hybrid ecosystem of editorial, talent management, and creative production. Today, Freeda is read, watched, and worn by more than thirty million people a month across Italy, France, Spain, and beyond.

We don't pick between publication and agency. We're both, and we think that's the point.

How we work

Four principles, no compromises.

01

Voices first.

Every story, campaign, and collaboration begins with a person worth listening to.

02

Built for the feed.

We tell stories the way our audience actually consumes them — fast, intimate, social.

03

Italian craft, global reach.

Made in Milano, with offices, talent, and clients across Europe and beyond.

04

Culture over conversion.

If it doesn't move the culture forward, it doesn't leave the studio.

The women in charge

Led by women who changed the room.
